A police department has publicly outed a gay robbery victim who had told his friends and family he was kidnapped in order to cover up a meeting with a male sex worker.
Christopher Keys, of Macon, Georgia, had called the police on May 19 after being robbed while waiting in a motel room for a sex worker he had arranged to meet on Craigslist. According to the report Keys filed with police, two masked men had knocked on the door and held him at gunpoint, before robbing him of his wallet, house, truck and work keys, and a cell phone.
He was to meet a man at the motel in room Keys said that he was going to tell his father that he was kidnapped from another location and brought to the motel.
Keys, 56, had been employed as a Bible studies teacher at a local religious school, Tattnall Square Academy, according to the Macon Telegraph. We have no comment or information regarding the matter about which he is accused.
